What it isn't: a technique class, any particular form of dance, something you can do right or wrong.
What it IS: expressive movement, some exercise, improvisation with structure and guidance
What you don't need: dance experience, the ability to stand for long periods, ballet slippers, to be of any gender, color, heritage, or sexual orientation
What you DO need: an open mind, a desire to know your body better and to move better, the ability to accept others and their difference, and an inclination to participate in community.
